12 (12) Hvorfor ansetter Hydro utenlandsstudenter: -Mangel på norsk spiss-kompetanse. Har vært vanskelig å tiltrekke oss norske studenter i konkurranse med olje/gass-industrien -Behov for å utvikle personer som kan gå inn i globale stillinger (teknisk kundeservice, ingeniører i operative stillinger, …). -Gode språkkunnskaper. De fleste lærer seg også norsk på kort tid -Internasjonal – bred kulturbakgrunn – berikelse for miljøet -Stor arbeidskapasitet og ikke redd for utfordringer -Fleksible med tanke på flytting i Hydro-systemet (ikke stedbundne..) -Krever gode mentorer internt for å videreutvikle de nyansatte! -Mindre risiko å ansette utenlandsstudenter som har vært en del av vårt forskningsnettverk gjennom MSc og Phd-studier ved NTNU
