3 H VORFOR PUBLISERERE I ÅPNE KANALER ? Synlighet – andre forskere refererer til de artiklene det er lett å få tak i. Gode og åpne vurderingsprosseser. Statistikk på nedlastning, deling, siteringer etc. Begynte som ideelle grasrot initiativ- er nå blitt en kommersiell arena. Hvordan vurdere kvalitet? De beste artiklene går fortsatt til etablerte tidsskrifter.

These subjective judgments can delay the publication of work that later proves to be of major significance.
