VMware User Group (VMUG) The VMware User Group (VMUG) is an independent, global, customer-led organization, created to maximize members’ use of VMware and partner solutions through knowledge sharing, training, collaboration, and events. With over 122,000 members worldwide, we are the largest organization for virtualization users. Why Join VMUG? See why you should get involved! VMUG has been incredibly active with new and growing benefits each day. In 2010 alone, VMUG launched it’s first ever Board of Directors, a group of VMware customers charged with working with the leaders and represent VMUG Member Needs. Over 318 local chapter meetings were held and 14 new groups were started in VMUG has also recently began offering VMUG Webcasts, the most recent focused on thin App and attracted over 1500 VMUG members.
