3 Lærergruppen består av: Høgskole og Universitetslærere fra: –Italia, Sverige, Portugal, GB, Litauen, Belgia, Tyskland, Østerriket, Polen, Finland, Spania

4 Gjennomført 2 møter med opplæring i bruk av its learning Fokus på muligheter i e- læringsplatformen Fokus på pedagogisk bruk av denne

5 Finansiering Arbeidsgruppens arbeidsmøter ble de to første årene finansiert av EUSW-TN Vi søkte MINERVA midler, men fikk ikke Søkte SOFF/NUV og fikk midler for 2 år Høgskolen i Bergen har bidratt med betydelige beløp Prosjektleder har 50% lønnet stilling i prosjektet. De øvrige deltakerne har dårligere vilkår gjennom sine arbeidsgivere.

6 En studieplan med flere valg og forløp Modul 1: 5ects –Enten som e-læring –Selv studie Modul 2: 10ects –5 e-lærings emner Modul 3: 10 ects –Forberedende del - selv studie (el. e-læring inkludert i M2) –2 uker sommerskole –Eksamen – muntlig og skriftlig oppgave

7 http://home.hib.no/AHS/virclass/ Fordi det planlagte nettstedet for EUSW-TN ikke ble gjennomført som planlagt ble det nødvendig å utvikle et eget nettsted for VIRCLASS.

8 Studenter fra mange land 50 studenter fra 14 land startet på M1: –Tyskland, Litauen, Norge, Polen, Portugal, Hellas, Tyrkia, Italia, Macedonia, Romania, Island, Ungarn, Sverige, Finland 32 studenter fullførte. Studenter fra Tyrkia, Romania og Portugal hadde de største problemene med å gjennomføre studiet.

9 Grunner til frafall Frafall skyldes: –Studiet tas på toppen av andre studier eller full jobb –Problemer i starten –For dårlig tilgang på PC –Språkproblemer og mail problemer –For lite orientert om studieplanen på forhånd

10 Modul 1 er nå gjennomført Evalueringene fra studentene forteller følgende: –Its learning har vært lett å navigere i –Tutorials var viktige og gode –Lærernes veiledning og oppfølging av vært god –Samarbeid mellom studenter har vært interessant –Spennende å prøve en ny læringsarena

11 LMS Alle kursene har blitt utviklet i It’s Learning og gjennomført på denne plattformen.

12 Sitater fra studentevaluering “….The e-learning class is a novelty in the European educational system. All students and professionals had a unique opportunity to participate in a program which offers training beyond borders. The educative procedure wasn’t difficult. On the contrary, the construction of the form in which we had to take part was very simple and the instructions from the professors specific. ….” (student fra Hellas)

13 Sitater fortsetter…. “…I am very glad to be a part of new IT possibility - to learn by network in VIRTUAL CLASSROOM. This process was very interesting and new for me. Firstly I was doubting about my potential to study because of communication with teacher not by face-to-face. But this procedure was fairly successful and useful. When I saw the invitation to study I have no idea how it is going to be. I thought that we will have to study some information for each week and then to report by some quizzes or tests. Also I thought about the work independently on some theme. Talking about the structure of the platform I think that it was easy to understand. Before the beginning of first module I get acquainted with tutorials and the platform so with beginning of first week I had just to work. I really liked it. Of all menues the most useful and informative was “status” because there I could check if I read everything I hade to. The most exiting task was pictures for every week. I was waiting for them. I like travel I have visited some countries but every time it is very interesting to get closer to some places of the word even by photo. First I was trying to guess the place if I don’t now it, but then I found the way to be right by guessing. Of course it is unlimited facilities of internet. ….” (Litauen)

14 Sitater fortsetter “To be honest, in the beginning I had some trouble finding my way through the virtual classroom. It took me some time to get an orientation and I probably will need some more days until everything is clear to me. But now, it seems to get better with every hour I spend in front of my computer. The tutorials are very helpful, and also the structure of the virtual classroom is clear now. I had some trouble with JAVA, too, and I'm still not sure if I use it the right way, but I think it works now. My computer is old and very slow, so I hope it will survive the 7 weeks.. :) (German student) “It's the first time i am studying this way, so it's not surprise i had some problems with orientation in beginning. But now everything is OK. Tutorials are really helpful and the structure on the platform is easy to understand.” (Litauen)
