8 EU-kontoret, 15.01.04 Open Upstream Research (STREPs, CAs) Area: Improving Environmental Impact òResearch Objectives :  reduce CO2 (and thus fuel consumption) by 50% per passenger-km in the long term  reduce NOx by 80% in LTO and to an EI of 5 (10) gr. Per Kg. of fuel burnt in cruise  reduce unburnt hydrocarbons and CO emissions by 50% (long term)  reduce noise by 4-5 dB (10 dB) per operation in the short (long) term. 16 EU-kontoret, 15.01.04 Anbefalinger (2) Definer de arbeidsoppgavene/strategiene som du/din organisasjon ønsker å forfølge Deretter sjekk om EU’s FoU-programmer har identifisert slike arbeidsoppgaver i noen av sine Work Programmes Hvis så, har du muligheten Men, har du et europeisk nettverk?  IST-Programmet fant at 72% av deltakerne i et EU-prosjekt ble introdusert av tidligere samarbeidspartnere! Vet du hvem som gjør hva i Europa? ----og hvem som gjerne ville gjøre hva?  Snakk med Norges representanter i EU-programmene

17 EU-kontoret, 15.01.04 Anbefalinger (3) Integrerte Prosjekter  200 mill € allokert til IP/NoE  IP er store europeiske satsinger som har vært forberedt over lang tid med sentrale aktører i europeisk luftfart som initiativtakere  Disse 8 IP har kommet meget langt i sine forberedelser  Hovedoppgavene er fordelt for lenge siden  Et meget høyt antall deltakere har banket på i lengre tid for å komme med  Noen norske miljø deltar i forberedelser til disse IP- søknader  Hvis du ikke allerede er med i slike forberedelser, la da være!  På lengre sikt kan IP gi interessante muligheter, men det krever målrettet arbeid over lengre tid, bl.a. må man bevisst ”være tilstede” i Europa og søke opp de beste
