6 How to use them MA-154 Mathematics 1 for engineering Feedback: Nå har jeg sett ferdig alle matte forelesningene dine fra i fjor, og er godt i gang med eksamensforberedelsene. Jeg vil rette en stor takk til deg som faglærer for at videoene ligger ute og måten du forklarer matten på. Videoene har vært til stor hjelp for frustrerte studenter etter dagens forelesninger. Fortsett med forelesningene dine på måten du gjør nå, for det har vært de mest pedagogiske forelesningene som jeg har opplevd på UiA. Mvh Marius Gylder Haugland Vil gjerne ha enda flere fag på streaming, men aller helst alle fagene ut så jeg kan se opptak etter på. Veldig bra å ha muligheten til å streame å kunne se forelesningene i etterkant. Morten Brekke sin undervisning fra høsten 2013 har reddet mattekarakteren min, hadde aldri gått uten de opptakene! Takk!!!! Synes det er fantastisk at det er tilgang til streaming, det skjer som regel alltid at det er dager det er vanskeligheter for å møte opp i selve forelesningssalen, da er dette tilbudet gull verdt. Synes videoundervisning er en kjempeflott mulighet, spesielt dersom man er syk en dag, så kan man se undervisningen hjemmeifra og dermed unngå at man mister en viktig time pga av sykdom. Det er også fantastisk og kunne bruke videoundervisningen som repetisjon ved eksamenstider, og ikke bare notater. Er ofte greit og høre lærerns forklaring en gang til mens man sitter og stusser over notatene sine :)Synes det skulle bli tatt i bruk i flere undervisninger, Veldig fornøyd med videoene som legges ut til de siste kapitlene. De er enkle og grundige og gjør det enkelt og spole tilbake hvis det er noe du må ha forklart flere ganger. A big thanks for you as a teacher recording your lectures and the way you teach in them. The videos have been a great help for frustrated Students after today's lectures. Continue with your video-lectures the way you do it now. Would like to have even more subjects with video- streaming so that I can see them again later. Amazing to access streaming, there are days when it is difficult to meet up in the lecture hall, this offer is worth gold. Video lectures is awesome, especially if you get sick, you can watch from home and not loose important time. Really great to use videos for repetition to exam, and not just read notes. Really great to listen to teacher's explanation again while struggling with your notes. Very happy with the videos. They are thorough, but easy to understand. You can rewind and listen several times.

16 Summary – my opinion: (based on experience) Video recorded lectures are of value to students. Short videos are excellent as a supplement to ordinary lectures. Students will applaud your effort. Gives you «more» time to talk and help students. Helps especially weak students. Will improve your teaching. Thank you for your attention.
